Product Introduction
A wedge anchor is a mechanical type expansion anchor that consists of four parts: the threaded anchor body, the expansion clip, a nut, and a washer. These anchors provide the highest and most consistent holding values of any mechanical type expansion anchor.
To ensure safe and proper wedge anchor installation, certain technical specifications must be considered. Wedge anchors come in a variety of diameters, lengths, and thread length and are available in three materials: zinc plated carbon steel, hot-dipped galvanized, and stainless steel. Wedge anchors should be used only in solid concrete.
Applications
Installing wedge anchors can be completed in five easy steps.they are installed into a pre-drilled hole, then the wedge is expanded by tighting the nut to securely anchor into the concrete.
One step:drilling a hole into the concrete.suitable the diameter with the wedge anchor
Two step:clean out the hole of all debris.
Three step:Place the nut on the end of the wedge anchor (to protect the threads of the wedge anchor during installation)
Four step:put the wedge anchor into the hole,Use strike down the wedge anchor to the enough deep with the hummer.
Step five:Tighten the nut to the best situation.
Zinc-plated and zinc yellow-chromate plated steel anchors are corrosion resistant in wet environments.Galvanized steel anchors are more corrosion resistant than zinc-plated steel anchors. They must be used with other galvanized fasteners.
